Philips Heartstart OnSite Infant/Child Cartridge Electrode Pads

BBM supplies the Infant/Child Electrode Pad Cartridge for the Philips HeartStart OnSite AED. These electrode pads are used for patients under 8 years of age or under 55 lbs. in body weight.

These pads work with the Philips HeartStart OnSite AED defibrillator to give voice instructions appropriate for a pediatric (child)  patient.
The HeartStart child pads cartridge automatically reduces the energy of its shock from an adult dose of 150 Joules to a child appropriate dose of 50 Joules.

For easier identification and faster response time during a cardiac emergency, the Philips Pads cartridge is marked with the appropriate patient weight and a teddy bear icon. 

How to Install the M5072A HeartStart OnSite Child  SMART Pads Cartridge 

Once you receive your new pads, follow the instructions below to get your AED operational again.

1. First, remove new pads cartridge from its packaging
2. Release and remove the old pads cartridge by locating the latch on top of the Philips Onsite and sliding it
3. Next, Install the  new pads cartridge by sliding the bottom end of the cartridge into the AED and then pressing down firmly until you here it click.
4. Now that the new  pads have been installed, the Philips OnSite defibrillator will state that the pads have been inserted and that it is ready for use.
